Gregory Neverov - President & Treasurer
Gregory has a lifelong interest in learning and technology. He has 15 years of experience as a software engineer at Microsoft, Google, and Meta, where he focused on applying ideas from research into novel products. Before moving to the Puget Sound area in 2008, Gregory grew up and studied in Australia and holds a Ph.D. in computer science and a B.S. in mathematics. He has served on his condo board for 5 years and joins the board at Kineo with an interest in building strong non-profit organizations that benefit the community.

Kate Kim- Secretary
Kate has 15 years of experience in sales and marketing in traditional and digital advertising. She has held positions at the Hearst Corporation, LA Times, Cox Media, and Sharethrough. She has also worked at Because Justice Matters and EBay for Charity, raising funds on behalf of 500+ non profits across the marketplace. Kate is excited to apply her passion for quality education for students of all backgrounds, she is a strong believer in Kineo’s focus on individualized learning methods and social play to support the academic and emotional growth of each student.

Elizabeth Kent
Elizabeth serves as an ex officio member by virtue of her position as Director. After earning a BA in Early Childhood she taught grade 1 though 3 before relocating to WA. As a parent, Elizabeth understands the dedication and nurturing involved in supporting the unique challenges and strengths of neurodivergent children, bringing both personal insight and professional expertise to her role.

Doreen Hunt
Doreen is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 35 years of experience working with children with special needs and their families. She has resided in the Seattle area since 2002 and is co-owner of Children’s Therapy of Woodinville: a large multi-disciplinary clinic. She is passionate about improving children’s sense of safety, sensory-motor and play skills to enhance their neural-regulation capacities, confidence and social successes- which ultimately translates to more quality, successful lives.

Jodi Gaertner
Jodi has a passion for equity in education that started with her undergraduate studies in Political Science and led to a Masters in Teaching in Special Education and the founding of Kineo. She believes every child deserves an opportunity to discover their strengths, build positive friendships, and grow the confidence to use their voice to change the world for the better.

Mark Kim
Mark brings over 20 years of experience in technology and management, having held leadership roles at companies such as Uber, Motorola/Google, and Amazon. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and MIT, he is currently a Limited Partner at KohFounders. As the parent of a boisterous 1st grader at Kineo, Mark joined the board to support the school’s commitment to individualized education based on the needs (and superpowers) of the student.

Steve Meredith
Steve is a retired teacher, school/private counselor, and athletic director/coach, working in both public and private schools for 42 years. He spent 17 years at the Overlake School in Redmond, starting the personal counseling program there and helping to formulate and continue the popular Advisory Room program for all students in grades 5-12. He and his wife, Linda, enjoy their 4 grandchildren, traveling, and lots of exercise!
