Team collaboration
At Kineo, we know that when parents and teachers work together, students benefit. Parents offer personal insights into their child’s strengths and needs and our teachers actively incorporate this knowledge into their approach. We have three parent-teacher conferences each year and prioritize clear communication and a team approach to create a well-rounded, personalized plan that fosters the child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
For some students at Kineo, specialists are an essential part of their learning experience. Behavior technicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals work hand in hand with our teachers and parents to create a unified plan tailored to each child’s needs.

Our parent community
At The Kineo School, parent-to-parent connections are an important part of our community. These relationships offer support, understanding, and a shared space for families raising neurodivergent children to celebrate achievements and navigate challenges together.
Our parent group hosts monthly meet-ups, and outings throughout the year. Summer playdates are a favorite, giving new students a chance to meet classmates while parents connect and build relationships.
Classroom events
At Kineo, we love inviting parents to be part of the classroom experience through monthly seasonal social events. These gatherings offer families a chance to connect, celebrate, and engage with their child’s learning.
Teacher’s host events such as pumpkin painting in the fall and a cozy hot cocoa social in winter. Families can join us for a board games social, a chocolate fountain, or admire student work during special events like a science fair, poetry café, or our annual art walk. We believe these monthly events are a great way to strengthen bonds within our school community.
